Pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao cancelled his afternoon training session scheduled at the Gerry Penalosa Gym here this afternoon, Roach has informed Penalosa by phone about the development as the usual throng of reporters and gym crowd waited in vain.
Reports indicate that the cancellation was due to the heavy workout Pacquiao did in the morning at the Rizal Memorial Oval where he ran for two laps and did an hour of plyometrics exercises under conditioning coach Alex Ariza.
Pacquiao is set to do his last workout tomorrow at the Penalosa Gym with another highly anticipated sparring sessions with Shawn Porter, Jose Luis Castillo and Danny Escobar before Team Pacquiao breaks the Philippine camp and heads to the airport in the evening for the trip to Los Angeles where the team continues their camp at Roach’s Wildcard
