Manny Pacquiao Won – History in the making

Manny Pacquiao won the Firepower fight against MIguel Cotto. Pacquiao knock out Cotto twice but still continued the game. On the 9th round, Cotto was already weak but his camp push him to finish the game. During the last round, Cotto stopped the fight. Pacquiao indeed now is part of the history.

According to Pacquiao in an interview after the fight, the first two rounds he was testing Cotto whether or not he can take it and when he found out that he can take COtto’s punches, he started to be aggressive and everything follows. Pacquiao said he thought Cotto would stop the fight on the 11th round and was surprised that the fight continued. He was then looking for an opportunity to knock out Cotto for the last time and that’s when Cotto stopped the game. And when asked who would be his next opponent, Pacquiao said his not yet sure and it all depends to Bob Arum, his promoter. Pacquiao said his not thinking of the next fight yet, instead he will spend his time with his family first and admitted that it was not an easy fight with Miguel Cotto.

On the other hand, Miguel Cotto on an interview admitted that indeed Manny Pacquiao is one of the greatest fighter. He said that his speed and angle punches really made a difference as he cannot determine where the punches are coming thus makes it difficult for him to defend himself.

Meanwhile Manny Pacquiao will have a concert later tonight and this calls for a celebration to his fans and his fellow Filipino.
